GET TO KNOW DR. REED

Dr. Reed believes that truly great dentistry starts with a strong, trusting relationship between the patient and doctor. He finds it so rewarding to help his patients overcome their past fears, worries, and doubts as he enables them to achieve healthy, confident smiles. Before you visit Waterloo Dental in person, you can learn more about Dr. Reed below.

Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

As a fourth generation dentist, Dr. Reed has been around dentistry his whole life. He fell in love with dentistry while first working as a dental assistant for a local general dentist while attending college at Texas A&M and later as an assistant for a local Austin Oral Surgeon. Nothing felt better than seeing the instant gratitude on patients’ faces after performing critical dentistry on them. He also enjoyed working one-on-one with each patient and getting to know them

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Reed and his wife, Lauren, have two young boys, Arthur and Joe. When they aren't shuttling them to and from school, they enjoy cooking from scratch, playing a round of golf, watching Netflix with their dog, Elvis, cheering on the Aggies, and most importantly, making each other laugh.
